Team Manager Responsibilities

Opening Field – Home Team
1) Get cart with balls, bats, bases from shed.
2) Places bases on infield.
3) Make any club bats available for player use.
4) Line batter’s box, pitcher’s box, foul lines, 3rd base
commitment line and home plate line.
5) Make sure field is free of any obstacles and safe for play.
6) Arrange for scorer’s keyboard, game balls, set up, etc.
Closing Field – Home Team of last game of the day
1) Remove bases from field, and install plugs
2) Place all bases, club bats, game and practice balls in cart.
3) Lock all gates to the field.
4) Make sure scorer’s keyboard and all tower equipment is stored and locked
in cabinet.
5) Sweep dust and dirt from dugout area and stands into dust pans (located
under dugout bench) and place debris in trash cans.
Do not sweep out into the field.
6) Make sure fans and misters are turned off and switches in the fuse box
are in the off position.
7) Return cart to storage area and lock.
8) Make sure restrooms are locked.
9) Return keys to fuse box and lock.
