TEAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITES

OPENING FIELD - HOME TEAM

1. Unlock both gates, both first-aid boxes, shed, restrooms and storage box near Home dugout.
2. Get Defibrillator from shed and place in holder behind Home dugout.
3. Place bases on the infield.
4. Paint foul lines, pitcher’s 6 foot mark, 3rd base commitment line and home plate line.
5. Get scorekeeper keyboard from shed. Unlock Scorekeeper doors and set up scorekeeper keyboard.
6. Make sure field is free of any obstacles and safe for play.
7. Provide new game ball to Home Plate Umpire.
8. Make sure appropriate keys are placed back in the breaker box and keypad box.

CLOSING FIELD - HOME TEAM

1. Remove all bases from infield, replace base plugs in holes and place bases in storage box.
2. Lock both first-aid boxes and place Defibrillator in storage shed holder on the right just inside the door.
3. Remove any extra balls from the field and place in bucket in storage box. Pick up anything that does not belong on the field.
4. Lock both gates to the field.
5. Make sure scoreboard toggle switch has been turned off and scoreboard is not lit up. Make sure stools, umbrella etc are put away in cabinets. Lock cabinets by putting bar in place and locking the padlocks. Make sure padlocks are placed with keyhole facing up. Scorekeeper keyboard is to be replaced in the shed hanging just under the Defibrillator. DO NOT LOCK IT IN CABINETS IN SCORE TOWER.
6. Sweep out both dugout areas and stands into dust pans (located under each dugout bench) and place debris in trash cans. Do not sweep debris back onto the field.
7. If on, make sure fans and misters are turned off both at their switches and the breaker box. Make sure the water is turned off at the front of stadium.
8. Lock both restroom doors.
9. Lock storage area door and storage box.
10. Return appropriate keys to the breaker box and the other set that opens the breaker box lock in the keypad lockbox. Make sure that both locks are locked securely.

VISITING TEAM MANAGER

1. Immediately following your game, have two players broom the infield for the next game. If you play the last game of the day you do not have to broom the infield.

ALL MANAGERS

1. Must provide line-up cards to opposing manager and Home Plate umpire. Line-up cards must show subs and person they are subbing for with both their ratings. Any player(s) requiring a runner must be indicated on the line-up card.
2. Must be sure players are in proper uniform (i.e. Sponsor jersey visible on cold days, league issued ball cap, lt. gray pants or shorts and no jewelry).
3. Write up highlights of your game on game summary in box behind Home dugout and place in “completed” box for the newspaper write-up.
