| July 26, 2010. Treedah Magee had their hitting shoes on today, pounding out 31 hits and 19 runs to defeat first place team Camino De Sol 19 to 4. Al Trentini continued his hot hitting with 3 hits including a double and 3 RBIs. Don Trenda had a 4 for 4 day with a double and 3 RBIs, while Robert Blainey had 4 hits and 2 RBIs. Adding to the offense Jay Schirpke had 4 hits, 3 RBIs, and also played outstanding defense in right centerfield cutting off any chance for Camino to rally back into the game. Wink Seals, Jim Palzer and Bob Throneberry added 3 hits each and sub Jim Malde had a double, a triple, and drove in 2 runs. Terry Braun added 2 hits an RBI and 2 runs scored. It was a complete team effort from top to bottom. | ||||||||
| July 26, 2010 First place didn't last long as the Undertakers were overtaken by the red hot bats of the Realtors. Larry Lincoln provided most of Treedah's offense with two triples, a single, two runs scored and 2 RBIs while Charlie Schulwolf added a single and a triple with a run in Camino del Sol's 7 hit attack. | ||||||||

| July 26, 2010. In another big hitting game the Mechanics of Thunderbird Automotive were firing on all cylinders and amassed 25 hits to mercy the accountants of Dick Steiman, CPA 17 to 4 in the 6th inning. Leading the hitting for the T-birds at 4 for 4 were Dale Schroeder and sub Ski Lewandowski. Steve Katz, sub Jim Malde (with a nice HR) and Tom McClintock were all 3 for 4. Loren Major was a star at 2 for 3 and 2 great catches at home for putouts! Chuck Shepard played a great second base to round out the Thunderbird Automotive effort. | ||||||||

| July 26, 2010. Nationwide Insurance built up a 15 to 7 lead after 6 innings then held on with a spectacular catch by Rick Clot in left field in the bottom of the 7th to down the hard charging realtors 15 to 13. Jan Huber was the hitting star for Nationwide with a perfect 4 for 4 day. Lyle Gordon and Lorne Carlson had 3 hits each while Jack Madio and Rick Clot chipped in with 2 hits each help seal the win. | ||||||||
| July 26, 2010. Nancy Muslin's 6 run 7th inning rally fell just short. Bob "Mr. 900" Aiken continued his torrid hitting going 4 for 4 with a triple and a home run for the Agents. Glen Turner, John Linert and sub Larry Elliot added 3 hits each in the heartbreaking loss for Nancy Muslin's Realtors. | ||||||||

| July 28, 2010. The Agents of Nationwide Insurance gained sole possession of first place with a big come from behind 14 to 10 win over Treedah Magee's Realtors. Trailing 9 to 1 after 3 innings the insurance guys scored 13 runs in the next 3 innings to seal the win. Rick Clot was again the hero with a perfect 3 for 3 day with a walk and his second Grand Slam HR in the last 3 games. Lorne Carlson, Neil Clewel, and winning pitcher Lamar Forque were each 3 for 4 while Lyle Gordon, Brian Morgan, Jake Groh, Jan Huber, and Jim Bobo contributed with 2 hits each. | ||||||||
| July 28, 2010. The Realtors started out with hot bats, scoring 9 runs in the first two innings, but went cold from the 3rd inning on. Sub Rick Lintz went 4 for 4 while Wink Seals had a 3 for 4 day in a losing cause. The Realtor's are now 3 wins and 2 losses for the season. | ||||||||

| July 28, 2010. Nancy Muslin's Realtors triumphed by scoring 5 runs in the last of the 6th to break open the game. Nancy's offense was led by Nick Marchese, John Linert and sub Steve Katz with 3 hits each. John Bertholdy, Paul Kosokoff, Don Campagna, Dick Marker and sub Rusty Gladyes added 2 hits each. Bertholdy had 2 doubles and Kosokoff an inside-the-park homer. Outfielder Steve Katz anchored solid team defense to back winning pitcher Don Campagna. | ||||||||
| July 28, 2010. Camino Del Sol's Undertakers just couldn't keep Nancy Muslin's Realtors from crossing home plate and managed 14 hits in suffering their second consecutive loss. Sub Jake Groh contributed a 3 for 3, two RBI effort that included a triple while Bill Marchionni and Charlie Schulwolf chipped in with two hits each as Camino del Sol slips to 3 and 3 on the season. | ||||||||

| July 28, 2010. Salt River Solar got some clutch hitting and good defense to beat Liberty Buick by a score of 9 to 7. Once again Reggie Court and Ken Krzeminski came through in the clutch, both going 3 for 3. Ron Remm and Bob Ahal also chipped in going 2 for 3. Salt River played solid defense to preserve the win in the top of inning 7 moving their record to 3 and 2. | ||||||||
| July 28, 2010. Two big innings by the Environmentalists of Salt River was all they needed for a 9 to 7 win over the Liberty Buick twelve. Five runs were allowed by Liberty in a defensive break down of 3 consecutive errors to break the tie. Jack Pendar led the Salt River offense with 3 hits. Bill Shanahan, Gene Fleck , Dale Busenbark and John Hammel all had 2 hits. Many opportunities were presented, but the key hits Liberty needed to get over the hump in those situations just were not there. | ||||||||
