Sun City Grand Softball Club Associate Membership Proposal

Whereas:

individuals who would like to participate in the Sun City Grand Softball Club activities and events but are not in a position to physically play due to short and/or long term situations as follows:

  1. medical difficulties,
  2. physical restrictions,
  3. family constraints,
  4. travel constraints,
  5. capability constraints,
  6. age constraints, or the like, and

Whereas:

individuals who are not in a position to play but would like to partake in the Sun City Grand Softball Club as follows:

  1. perform duties as an umpire,
  2. perform scoreboard duties,
  3. serve on Club committees,
  4. attend & participate in Club meetings,
  5. attend and participate in Club social activities,
  6. work on field maintenance, or the like,  

 

Be it resolved:

the Sun City Grand Softball Club establish a membership category called “Associate Member” whereby individuals applying would be required to:

  1.  fill out all general information and sign the same application sheet as a playing member,
  2. sign the medical waiver,
  3.  pay the yearly associate membership dues as determined by the Board,
  4. adhere to all applicable CAM and Club rules,
  5.  receive the same baseball cap awarded to all playing members, and
  6. if applicable, pay the difference between the annual associate membership dues and the annual player’s dues in the event the associate member should elect to play later in the season.
