National League Game Summary Coordinator

 

Description:  The Game Summary Coordinator receives e-mail game summaries from all National League managers.  The Coordinator prepares a document based on the received e-mails that summarizes the games played that day.  The document contains an updated list of the team standings as well.  By the next day, the document is sent electronically to:

  1. Sun City Grand Softball League Web Master john-web@cox.net
  2. Newspapers

Process:

  1. Receives e-mail game summaries from all managers.
  2. Prepares a document based on the received e-mails summarizing the games played that day.  The document contains an updated list of the team standings as well.  The team standings are double checked for accuracy.

Note:  Team standings error can trigger a call to the Commissioner, then a call by the Commissioner to the Coordinator.

           3.  The game summary document is sent to:

      Newspapers

      jcarr@newszap.com

      rbolas@aztrib.com     

  1. The Coordinator verifies that the write up has been posted on the Softball League’s Web Site.  The accuracy of the team standing is verified too.
  2. The Coordinator posts a hard copy of the day’s game summary on the National League’s bulletin board at the park.  (Steve Powell can provide a key to the bulletin board.)

 

             Note:  It takes approximately one hour to complete the process.
